"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Isaiah 43:2
We should try to be very mindful that when life circumstances start to corner us or we simply start to feel feelings that are not very positive we should emit a signal for help.
We can try to organize our thoughts and emotions through dialogue with a loved one. A relative, a friend or a friend with whom we have a lot of confidence. Surely their point of view will help us to visualize the situation in a different way.
We can also engage in a unique and unrepeatable dialogue by praying, consulting with God to ask Him to intercede and guide our path.
"But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." Jeremiah 17:7-8
We must remember how valuable it is to have God's wise hand guiding our steps; the benevolent nature with which He always blessed our lives, our daily decisions and our thoughts.
That is why it is very important to remember that in God we will find a faithful friend to whom we can entrust our worries, while through prayer we can invoke his guidance in those moments when the darkness of worry threatens our steps on the path of the Lord.
"He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20
Let us remember then that the works of God are manifested in all those who follow Him and serve Him always with an open heart, expressing in their actions the vocation of faithfulness and gratitude to Him.
Therefore, the beginning of wisdom is obedience to the Lord, seeking Him through prayer and the study of His word, which are the actions that express our attachment and trust in His will and are the means by which He will hear our request.
"I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king." Daniel 2:23
God offers us the promise of releasing the weight of our burdens by attending through Faith to His call, staying close to those who invoke His holy guidance helping them in every moment of need, provided we allow Him to dwell in our heart and let Him in with true trust and sincerity.
Let us never forget then that thousands of experiences, stories and wise rewards are housed in the Bible, it is a treasure trove of answers and guidance to a destiny of healing and Faith.
