Follow the commandments of your Heart. Find the way in the following article.
"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into." Matthew 24:42-43
New generations have a unique perspective, different from that of their elders. If we remember the importance of transmitting to the young the values of life, we will be illuminating their path towards the Lord.
A small example, reflecting our thinking and a consistent decision, will contribute to the growth of the hearts of the youngest.
Remembering that they are the future, we have an opportunity to approach them and share our experiences, explaining to them the link we have with faith and the Holy Spirit.
"When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him." Matthew 2:13
As we listen to their answers, we will open our minds and receive a fresh and renewed look. Youth live the world in a way that perhaps we, at present, are not able to perceive. From another perspective, children experience a daily events and learning that are very different from those we experienced in our past.
This implies that we must give them the opportunity to listen to their voices, understand their needs and share with them a universe full of teachings from the Heavenly Father.
"But now I urge you to keep up your courage, because not one of you will be lost; only the ship will be destroyed. Last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me and said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you." Acts 27:22-24
The simplicity and purity of mind of the new generations will surely surprise us. Their awareness and spiritual openness are much broader than we can imagine, so it is timely to approach them to renew our vocation of faith and our hope in building a solid foundation with the Lord.
Understanding that we must place all our hope in these children gives us an emotional relief and a unique moment of lucidity that we must make the most of if we have the possibility of approaching them and establishing a fraternal communion with the Holy Spirit and these miniature blessings.
"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build." Ecclesiastes 3:1-3
We must not miss the opportunity to pass on to them the lessons we have learned with the Lord, so that the younger generations can internalize from this moment on the importance of the Heavenly Father in their lives.
In this way the Lord will have concluded his task with his sons and daughters in the Faith: to transfer his word and his teaching to future generations will be part of the extension of the Holy Spirit in each of the hearts of the world.
