"Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven." James 5:14-15

That is why we must be aware of the importance of exercising our Faith constantly and, what is even more important, putting it to the test at all times and in all places. Only in this way will we know for certain that we have done a work worthy of pride.
Let us remember then that it is possible that we may be overcome by fear in the face of a pressing situation and this invites us to ask ourselves why God allowed something like this to happen to us, nevertheless we can also at that moment choose to believe in His will and trust that, although it hurts, the way in which the Lord is working will be for our benefit.
The harsher the reality, the more we cling to God, let us not forget that his love never fails.
