In the midst of the daily hustle and bustle, it is common to find ourselves exhausted at the end of the day, yet we are surprised to find that sleep does not come easily or that anguish overtakes us. We wonder when we will be able to find a little peace in the midst of this maelstrom. The demands of everyday life subject us to physical and mental exhaustion that, over time, can trigger anxiety and depression. At times like these, it is crucial to open our hearts to God.

Let us take advantage of those sleepless nights to engage in a deep dialogue with the Lord and find in His wisdom the rest we so desperately need. The reasons for feeling overwhelmed are many and varied: long working hours, domestic responsibilities, caring for sick loved ones, the pressure of academic exams, financial problems or job uncertainty.
