If we feel that every decision we make brings us closer to our destiny, then we will be closer and closer to our happiness.
"But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life." 1 Timothy 1:16
We think of luck as something external, something that just happens, something given. As a superior entity that works when it wants to, that touches some people and not others.
You have to know that in reality, the path is created by you, when you follow God's blessings. Luck has nothing to do with how you solve your problems, your insecurities, how you strengthen yourself in the face of inconveniences.
To have peace of mind and to be able to understand that the blessings of the Lord will accompany us at all times. When they are happy, and you magnify them, you value them, you retain them.
It also has to do with how you temper the sadness and melancholy, the losses.
"But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind." James 1:6
We should not ignore the existence of favorable or unfavorable events, which happen by chance or coincidence or were simply described in our Father's plan.
Generally they obey to causes that we do not know and that always escape to our field of action.
There are situations that can only be explained through faith and spirituality. God is the only one who intervenes in life and death situations, in which someone's life changes radically and there are no doubts about the nature of the event.
There are coincidences, in which some people seem to be lucky and others not. However, at the level of everyday life, of daily life, everything happens differently.
"To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. “He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.” When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly." 1 Peter 2:21-23
Have you noticed in your daily life that the people who appear with a smile every day, who have respect and good treatment with you are those who emanate peace and love? Those who are positive, cheerful, who have good humor and face everything with a smile. The ones who are self-confident. You will notice that these people follow the Lord closely. They have a daily conversation, a dialogue in prayer that allows them to see beyond the obvious.
Observe yourself as you walk and you will see that you do not notice the earth, the simple, secure earth that sustains you at every step. We take it for granted, we simply know that it is there and we do not notice the great richness it contains. In the same way we take for granted so many things in our lives, just because we feel that they will always be there. The question now is, who has always been there for you?
"Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son." 1 John 5:10
It is difficult to love when you feel somewhat empty. Today's fast-paced life traps you and we do not pay attention to those essential things that give a particular meaning to our existence, and especially to our life with God.
If you feel that something does not feel right, if you do not feel in fullness, it is possible that you are going through a period of estrangement from your journey on the path of Faith and the Holy Spirit. Reconnect with those roots that give strength and essence to your life with Jesus.
Return to prayer, to silence and to reading the Bible. Try to listen and think more about getting closer to the Glory of the Father. Let the blessings enter your heart instead of dazing you with strident and most of the time empty chatter.
If working in the way of Faith sustains and sustains you, connect with energy from which you have distanced yourself. Your feelings will come to the surface little by little and you will come to your senses. Generate your energy, and move in the direction the Lord has in mind for you. The Savior is your witness and companion.
