Personal Growth: The Key to Success

When we have the decision made, we have to stand firm on the path of light in order to take the leap. Learn how to continue in the following article.

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." John 1:5

Many times we go through moments of uncertainty and doubt. We feel disconnected from everything and can't find an explanation for it.

However, we must bear in mind that moments like this will be repeated throughout our lives and are instances in which we will put all our effort into seeking the Lord's Peace. But where can we look for him, how can we approach him?

If we have a heart that wants to respond to Christ, if our true desire is to be close to the Highest, we must constantly strengthen our faith and participate in His glory with vitality, a positive spirit, and the gift of good.

“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” Matthew 6:6

When we want to find the Lord, we must encourage direct dialogue with our Father through prayer.

It is an ideal instance to open our hearts to His Grace. He already knows what we feel, what we think, and what we are going through. God seeks us, waits for us, and loves us. We must not falter or doubt when we do not hear His voice. It is important to accept the Silences of the Eternal. Let us remember that His times are not our times. That is why it is necessary to unite ourselves to Christ with true Faith and Humility. When we are sincere with the Lord, we unite with Him in the unity of Love.

"The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." Psalms 145:18

Have you ever thought about all the time we spend on little things that eventually don't pay off as we would like? Inside of us, there remains the feeling that we have been using time in vain.

It is a great opportunity to change this behavior and prioritize that time to read the Holy Scriptures. In this way, we will receive the edifying nourishment of God's Word.

His Message will heal us, give us Peace of Spirit and emotional Balance. In turn, it will revitalize us in our Commitment and give us the strength to continue facing the challenges of life from Love and the Gift of Good.

“There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.” 1 Corinthians 12:5-6

The Lord has blessed us with Gifts that, throughout our existence, we must develop and put at His Service.

What are these Gifts? How do we discover which one is ours? The Gifts given by God should have the purpose of being profitable and to cover the needs of our brothers.

We all have different kinds of talent. Some of them we have been able to develop and others we have not. A good way to approach the Glory of the Lord is to detect our Gifts, understand that they are tools of the Highest, grow in them, and share them with others. In turn, we will receive His Grace through the virtues of others. It is essential to take seriously our Talents since it is precisely He who speaks through them to carry out His Work of Love and Salvation.

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” Deuteronomy 6:4

Spreading the Word of the Lord is also an effective way to be closer to Him. This task requires Patience and Perseverance. We must turn a deaf ear to criticism and affronts in order to maintain a vital and active Spirit.

Only in this way will the Message of the Eternal reach the ends of the earth. We can use the means at our disposal.

In the same way, we must set an example as members of the People of God, by consecrating our lives to the Plan that the Lord has designed for us.

It is not an easy Mission and no one said it would be. So let us not give up and look to the future with joy and faith. We have nothing to fear because we have the Mercy and perfect Guidance of our Heavenly Father.
