As we look towards the horizon, we raise our gaze and our thoughts and longings rest on the Celestial Temple. Learn to focus your challenges in the hands of the Savior.
"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
We do not lack the time to look at heaven. We do not lack the opportunity. We do not lack the desire to do so, and we do not even doubt the pleasure we will derive from doing so, knowing that the Lord cares for us and leads us in the path of love and goodness.
We lack the strength to decide to do something that will benefit us as sons and daughters of God. This simple action can bring us spiritual wellbeing, and perhaps we feel that this has no place in today's world, which is so ephemeral and with a yearning for exclusively material accumulation.
We lack the decision to dedicate time to cultivate Faith in our hearts. A necessary pause to refocus our day, re-focusing our life, correcting our course on the path of the Holy Spirit.
It is those minutes of prayer and contemplation that we deprive ourselves of every day that would help us to have inner peace and tranquility. Try praying and looking at heaven right now!
"Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." Colossians 3:2
All the inner processes that lead us to growth need us to take care of them. For this, we must try to take a different look at our actions and decisions to really deal with our higher connection.
Stop looking at the ground to look at the sky: if we manage to make this small change of perspective, it will cause us a new position in the course of each day.
Approaching our daily decisions from the perspective of Faith will give us a new sense of existence with the Lord. New motives for living appear, horizons of love and happiness open up, feeling our problems as simple stumbles and moments to learn from life.
When we join the universal concert of the Holy Spirit, the Lord and his son Jesus, we should fear nothing and no one. As events unfold, we are part of something greater, we have a brilliance of our own, since we belong to the Heavenly Temple of God.
"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ." Philippians 3:20
Thanks to hope and faith, there are gears that are always in constant motion, we just have to learn to understand the trials and teachings that the Lord brings us.
We are not a complete whole, we are a part of this gear, completing it and contributing so that everything follows the course of light that our Heavenly Father invites us to follow.
For this reason it is important that you read the signs well, that you do not try to force the destiny in the direction you intend, but that you interpret what the Holy Spirit shows you.
To stop, to look up, to feel part of this conglomerate of blessings that unite us, perceiving the Glory of the Lord, will build in the future the necessary confidence to unite the certainty that everything will improve in the infinite wisdom of God.
This is what will lead you to achieve your goals, to participate in the concert of the universe of FAITH, and not to pretend to play your own individual melody.
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge." Psalm 19:1-2
It is difficult to get to perceive the right point of the necessary balance between our spiritual needs and those that the Lord wants us to incorporate into our lives.
Would we feel at ease as a part of the Lord's unique plan, would we be a valuable and indispensable element for the universe of Faith to move into our hearts?
It is not so difficult to achieve a balance that allows us to be at peace, enjoying life with God. We should not believe that we are complex beings: we must recognize ourselves as valuable and unique beings, taking care and respecting our bases of beliefs and foundations of life with the Lord.
