“Look,” said Naomi, “your sister-in-law is going back to her people and her gods. Go back with her.”But Ruth replied, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. ” Ruth 1:15-16
To live from love because with that valuable message we can remember that it is worthwhile to follow God's path. Helping in our lives, reaching out to those who need it most and continuing the work of the Holy Spirit that requires so much love and effort. We move day by day to strive to be happy, moving forward in life and feeling closer and closer to God.
“Moses listened to his father-in-law and did everything he said. He chose capable men from all Israel and made them leaders of the people, officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.” Exodus 18:24-25
Putting the word of the Lord into practice will help us to refer to those moments in the Bible where we learned a very good lesson. Or simply it will allow us to reinforce the message of the Heavenly Father with an example that we can give to a close person, a family member or someone who needs the help of the Savior. We must always remember that we are instruments of healing in the work of Jesus.
“So Abram said to Lot, “Let’s not have any quarreling between you and me, or between your herders and mine, for we are close relatives. Is not the whole land before you? Let’s part company. If you go to the left, I’ll go to the right; if you go to the right, I’ll go to the left. ” Genesis 13:8-9
Making daily decisions that bring us closer to God's will will help us to incorporate the Holy Spirit in our hearts. The works we can do in alignment with the will of Christ will have a unique spiritual growth value. Accompanying the Word with our small daily steps, with prayer, patience and faith, will give us a place in the Kingdom of Heaven.
“But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15
If we can replicate the Lord's experiences, we can be sure that we will find the path of goodness and the illumination of the Holy Spirit. We will be claiming the Glory of the Heavenly Father with all those people who know us, letting them know that we will always be under his protection of blessings and eternal love.
We are in control of our life and we decide what to do with it, never forget that.
