How often do we stop to meditate on the consequences of our actions on a daily basis? Reflect with these words that we send you.
"Whoever digs a pit may fall into it; whoever breaks through a wall may be bitten by a snake. Whoever quarries stones may be injured by them; whoever splits logs may be endangered by them. If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed, but skill will bring success." Ecclesiastes 10:8-10
Going through our lives only thinking about our needs as individuals will turn us into individualistic beings with little empathy for our surroundings. In order to connect deeply with the love that lies in our hearts we must be able to open ourselves in a unique way, as Jesus did for all his sons and daughters.
If we at least try to read The Word, seek answers in prayer and in actions guided by the Holy Spirit, we will have a guarantee of Faith for life, knowing that in the temple of heaven, our Father will be guiding us and blessing us with His wisdom.
"Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven." James 5:14-15
Let us live our life as a daily challenge. The constant challenge that is worth accepting. No matter what happens. Do not faint or be discouraged. Regain your strength and above all, pick up the foundations of your hope, the only one with which we should entrust ourselves to Jesus. As he did with us.
If we manage to learn to live with these teachings that come our way, then we will connect in a unique and special way with our heart. The Holy Spirit will cover with his mantle of hope every step we take on the path of the Heavenly Father. We will have no doubts, and we will always be convinced of every decision we make.
"Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more. I will not pour out libations of blood to such gods or take up their names on my lips. Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure." Psalms 16:4-5
There is a reason for the feeling of emptiness in life: God created man with a longing that only He can satisfy. A person cannot be satisfied until he experiences the Lord's transforming and unconditional love, for God desires for us to feel complete; which is only achieved through a relationship with Him.
We ask for healing, spiritual guidance, a sign that tells us if we are on the right path.
If the decision we are about to make is the one that will lead us to the light. The only answer lies in surrender to the Lord. That is the only true destiny. He will guide us in the decisions because "God does not allow a challenge to come into your life unless it has a divine purpose behind it".The only answer lies in surrendering to Jesus.
"The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me." Psalms 16:6-7
Nevertheless, a believing person can feel empty. Sometimes it is the result of disobedience; a slight deviation in our walk with the Lord can later become a way of life. It is also possible for a believer to live according to God's Word, but not to have fully surrendered his or her desires to God.
For example, many sons and daughters of God try to fill their emptiness with wealth, success or relationships, but when those desires are given higher priority than the Lord, they become a form of idolatry. Only when we seek God above all else can we live in fullness.
Let us pray then asking Him to give us His direction to listen to our heart. It is our duty to confess to Him any sin or idolatry, and ask Him to fill our lives as only He can.
