In Eternal Gratitude

When we realize that we have loved ones, family and friends by our side who care for us and are there for us, that is when we should be at peace. Recognize the blessings we have around us through the following article.

"Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom." James 3:13

We have become accustomed, often without realizing it, to look away from what is truly essential.

It may even seem logical that, as a result of daily concerns, the over-information coming from the mass media, and the demands of today's world, we lose sight of the most wonderful condition we possess, which is to be children of God.

It is important to reconcile with ourselves, giving us the time to understand that the Lord is the source of all blessings, of all good, of personal improvement and that is our greatest wealth.

“that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” Matthew 5:45

How many times have we missed the opportunity to talk to the Lord, how many times have we seen days, whole weeks go by without communicating with our beloved Father?

The obligations, influence, and pressure that the modern world exerts on our lives often distract us from our true desire to serve the purpose that God has propitiated for us from Love and Mercy.

We must be receptive to slow down the speed in which we are involved and in this way seek the balance that allows us to understand, in all its dimension, that the Lord is our Eternal Father and that behind all the blessings we receive daily, there is His hand extended so that we receive Him in our hearts with Faith and Humility.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

When we make the vital decision to walk with the Lord, we must always keep in mind that we are walking a path of Commitment and Salvation that we must honor responsibly.

God knows us perfectly and has good plans for our existence. When we understand and accept that he is in charge of our lives, that he hears our prayers, and that he urges us to seek and know him constantly, we realize that our Heavenly Father has a future and a hope for each of his children.

Although it may happen that the plans of the Highest are not what we expected, we must understand that His times are Perfect and different from ours. However, it is clear that God's plan is the best for our growth and improvement.

Our Faith is sustained, among other things, in the certainty that the Lord works for the Good of all the People of God.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7

The Lord has blessed us with Talents and Gifts that we must develop to fulfill His purposes on earth. It is up to us to grow in Christ to recognize and deliver those blessings with joy to our brothers.

Likewise, our Heavenly Father will speak through the Gifts of others to reach our hearts.

We have probably all, at some point, reluctantly given up something. This attitude does not please the Lord, therefore it is fundamental to communicate with Him to reflect and from His Perfect Wisdom to make our next offering fill us with joy because we have healed and we have a heart ready.

“The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it.” Proverbs 10:22

Surely we have gone through the instance of wishing for something that we thought would make us happy and, once obtained, it didn't.

It is necessary to consider our choices under the Light and Guidance of the Almighty God and ask Him if that is His will for us and wait for His answer.

He will respond by directing our steps towards the best decisions. We only have to listen to His Word. There, we will understand, that our greatest Blessing is to be children of God .
