"Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me." Psalm 31:3
The search for prosperity is a common yearning in people's lives, but it is often associated exclusively with the accumulation of material goods.
However, true prosperity is found on the emotional and spiritual plane, and to achieve it it is necessary to understand that the love and glory of God transcends all types of material possessions.
It is important to keep in mind that the sense of security that the accumulation of material goods gives us has a lot to do with our history and what we have lived through.
Where we grew up and the people who raised us can influence how we perceive prosperity and happiness. But we must keep in mind that the desire to accumulate goods is detrimental to our health and well-being in the short term.
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Colossians 3:17
To achieve a prosperous life from the emotional and spiritual plane, it is fundamental to entrust our hope to the Holy Spirit. The Lord will give us access to the necessary tools and will present us with people and opportunities along the way to accompany us.
We must keep up the effort and trust that the results will be positive, showing us the path to follow in order to continue growing and deepening our bond with the Faith.
On the road to prosperity, we may encounter people close to us who are not happy about our success or our future decisions. We must understand that many people who are far from the path of Salvation and the Glory of God, will not understand our devotion and happiness with God.
Therefore, it is important to control our emotions and movements, being responsible with what we have achieved in life in order to continue growing in Faith.
"Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness." 2 Corinthians 9:10
Consistency between our actions and our beliefs is fundamental in order to maintain a life at peace and connected to God. We cannot pretend that our life is a temple of inner peace if in our day to day lives we fail to correspond with decisions and actions of a person of faith and respect for the Holy Spirit.
We must be coherent with ourselves, sending clear and healthy messages to our body and mind.
Replenish your energies, your Faith and your hope right now. Focus on your individual needs, channel your fears and prayerfully hold on to the blessings that our Heavenly Father has ready for each of his sons and daughters on this path of enlightenment.
"I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds." Psalm 9:1
If we stay on the path of light, praying and connecting with the Lord, He will answer us as we expect. This is the first step to feeling good and free from the superficial attachments of material goods and a false sense of security that we try to demonstrate with the purchase of goods.
Life is simple, and a simple thank you or a daily chore that gives us enough energy to connect us with the hope and faith that a better future awaits us, will be the necessary basis to move forward again and again with God.
Do not despair, really surround yourself with those who can give you a boost of love and hope. Positive energies and good advice do not abound at this time, but God will always send you special opportunities for you, designed and prepared for you to learn at this time of life what your path of spiritual and personal rediscovery can be.
