Rebuild your Family Pillars

It is necessary to be able to have peace and harmony with our loved ones. Learn how to build bridges of dialogue and peace with the following examples.

“ As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love.” John 15:9-10

He gave His own son.

In the purest and most selfless act of love for us, His children, God gave His own son to redeem us from our sins. The example for excellence in love. Such is the love and trust that He has for us, so great is the potential He sees in us, such is the trust that resides in our heart, that which we call faith, and that represents the key to love.

“Do not let loyalty and faithfulness forsake you, bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute in the sight of God and of people.” Proverbs 3:3-4

He forgave those who offend Him.

That is what He did for Peter, who not only betrayed Him once, but two even three times, all before the rooster crowed, just as Jesus had predicted. And yet, Peter found divine forgiveness in Jesus as well as a friend and not just a confessor.

“I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.” Ephesians 3:16-17

He taught us that all things are possible with love.

The same as any exemplary teacher, Christ always knew that leading by example was the only way to ensure His teachings lasted throughout time. He Himself starred in the moments that soon began to circulate and made Him known as the Messiah, the Savior that came searching for His throne.

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, or show no compassion for the child of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.” Isaiah 49:15-16

He gave us a life full of lessons.

All the deeds and miracles, all the lepers and the blind that were able to see; all His kindness and love put into practice was recorded by His disciples and witnesses of different places through which was compiled all that surrounded the story of God: the Holy Bible.

“Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is strong as death, passion fierce as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a raging flame.” Song of Solomon 8:6

He shared His wisdom with us.

It is important to remember He taught us by putting trials in our path so that we truly learn by our own means, since we have all the answers in our heart, and that way we can strengthen ourselves and grow in spirit. The potential that God sees in us is so great, such that He knows that we will find a way to get through the trials.

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

He gave us the promise of eternal life.

As a reward for having walked the path that He offers us, that hard path, the one that requires the greatest sacrifice and a spirit that is strong enough; God promises us an eternal life in paradise, by His side, enjoying God's goodness in all its immensity, in an eternity where it is all peace, happiness, and harmony.
