Exercising Our Hearts

There are ways to put all our love into practice on a daily basis. Explore in the following article the routine your heart needs right now.

"But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul." Joshua 22:5

The necessary surrender that we must have in adverse moments emerges from our inner being and from the depth of the heart. It means surrendering individuality and relinquishing control of our ego.

When we open ourselves to God, we are simply acknowledging that what we own, say, think and do is within His path of light.

The Holy Spirit should enable us to exercise our spirituality in such a way that we can feel the Glory and blessings of the Lord in our day to day lives.

"My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity." Proverbs 3:1-2

If we have the awareness to distinguish that our Heavenly Father is the provider of all the good situations that happen around us, we will be able to take each opportunity of evolution as a step towards eternal life with God.

As long as we are responsible for taking care of what God has given us and with all that He blesses us with in our present circumstances, we will be standing and looking the Savior in the eye.

Surrendering ourselves to the Lord helps us to let go of that which separates us from the best that God has for our lives: infinite love.

By surrendering to God we commit ourselves to a routine of spiritual healing and overcoming.

"But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7

If we can incorporate prayer as a daily exercise, we will truly be in alignment with the Lord. Along with forgiveness, prayer is the channel that exists to link us with God. The presence of this spiritual connection will guarantee an improvement in our emotional balance.

If we think about it, it is very natural and necessary to spend time with the one you love. This is reflected in human relationships. It is exactly the same in our bond with God.

"The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve." Jeremiah 17:9-10

If you try to evaluate your progress, examining your behaviors and thoughts, simply to really feel the warmth of the Lord in your daily life, you will identify some that refer to the past, others that represent your present and others that project into the future.

If you manage to balance your spiritual life and your emotional life, you will find a revitalizing and repairing force for your heart. Let the Lord in right now and feel the difference in your life.
