"The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity." Proverbs 11:3
At every stage of life and in every year that we go through, the Lord has lessons to teach us. Each moment provides us with a different inspiration and a unique learning that can only come from the wisdom of the Heavenly Father. Throughout different contexts and moments in our journey, people act in similar ways.
First, we reflect on the needs to be met, then we work on the birth of ideas or plans to achieve those goals. We observe the results and, finally, we evaluate everything that has happened and draw lessons that allow us to close a stage and open up to a new one.
"If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth." 1 John 1:6
If we remain still, silent and unchanging, we will never be able to enjoy new stages of spiritual evolution. It is time to reflect, to know ourselves and to connect a little more with the Holy Spirit.
If we manage to be calm, we will be able to enjoy moments of introspection and prayer. Spending quality time in prayer and reading the Bible will help us make great decisions in the future.
Meditate in the silence: What thoughts are predominant in your mind? Which ideas need to hibernate? Which ones need a process to come out stronger and brighter?
If you feel it is the right time for introspection, try to connect with rest. Reconnecting with yourself will help you balance your senses and emotions.
"I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold!" Psalm 18:1-2
Allow yourself to listen more attentively, to hear more of what comes from within than what comes from without. Enjoy the calm and serenity of peace. When your body experiences moments of emotional chill, it is important to pay attention to the signs and people around you at that time. Don't push yourself too hard, but reach out to those who know you best to get back to your usual spirituality.
Learn to draw inspiration from stories and accounts that help us remember Jesus and God. Talk to your friends and family members who are available. They are instruments of the Holy Spirit who will act with hope under the Lord's commandments. Their stories and learnings will serve as a natural reflection and mirror of your emotions, thoughts and feelings.
"Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other." Deuteronomy 4:39
Do not doubt your abilities as a daughter or son of the Heavenly Father. He listens to us, guides us and helps us to be better people every day. Trust in His love and His transforming power in your life.
The community of believers also plays an important role in our spiritual life. By sharing our experiences and our experiences with other brothers and sisters in faith, we strengthen our connection with God and find mutual support on life's journey. Together, we can grow in faith, encourage one another and serve as instruments of God's love and grace in the world.
It is important to remember that the spiritual journey is neither linear nor without difficulties. There will be moments of doubt, uncertainty and inner struggle. However, it is in those moments that we must cling to our faith and trust that God is working in our lives in ways that we cannot always understand. His plan for us is perfect, and although we may find it difficult at times, we can find comfort in His love and in His promise to be with us always.
