What kind of proofs and testimonies will we encounter throughout our lives to understand the Glory of the Lord? In the following article you will be able to understand some examples.
"Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him." James 1:12
For various reasons we can stay away from the path of light and illumination provided by the Holy Spirit. But we must try to remember and keep our eyes and thoughts attentive, since temptation and some habits can divert us from our objective of Faith.
It is also easy that way, something simple and simple in the immediacy with which the reward or pleasure is conceived. But it is precisely these conditions that predispose us to make decisions that can affect in one way or another the integrity of our spirit.
"When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone." James 1:13
To endure temptation means to go through trials without giving up at all, so as to be able to survive the darkness that is always lurking to attack, whenever we are unawares we stray from the steps of God's way.
It is then of utmost importance to remember that to endure also means to go through a time of temptation without allowing ourselves to change our attitude or commitment to God.
Let us remember that Jesus never treated people differently when He was tempted and in the same way, when we are spiritually mature, we can follow His example. Jesus understands exactly what we face when we really come face to face with temptation.
"Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted." Galatians 6:1
Sometimes He allows us to face temptations so that He can call our attention to areas of weakness in our lives and help us overcome them, let us not forget that this is one of His many ways of showing us His love for all His children.
The only way we can have all that Jesus wants us to have is by becoming what He created us to be, and that maturity comes through overcoming the various trials He is careful to put in our way.
"Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy." Micah 7:18
It is then time to decide to be patient while standing firm in spirit and not give in to temptation that only seeks to lead us away from our Shepherd; and just as His word dictates.
He will not give us a greater burden than we can bear, but together with the trial He will give us the way out of that problem, to continue traveling the marvelous paths of His divine will.
