Developing a Full Life

This is the right time to feel fully on the path of celestial enlightenment. Discover in the following article different ways to heal your heart.

"And the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: “You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased." Luke 3:22

The pace at which we live our lives often disconnects us from the reality around us. Many times this results from adding responsibilities and running into issues that blind us and do not allow us to see the things that really matter and that are particularly worthy of our attention.

At times we meet people who have had bad luck. They are living the result of a life they may not have imagined or planned for.

Most of the time, we manage to look at those people who live in different conditions and even in ways that no one could have thought of before. What example did Jesus give us on the Cross that would inspire us for the rest of our days?

"Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.'" James 4:13-15

Walking in the ways of the Lord is definitely possible and will help us to lead a life based on our faith.

Is it possible to take all the teachings that God has left us through his word? If we manage to transfer the scenarios that we live daily and connect everything we perceive, feel and think with the Sacred Word that our Heavenly Father gave us, we will notice that we will always find an adequate answer and a superior way to walk in the ways of the Lord.

"For I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance." Philippians 1:19

The Lord calls us to a transformation, to a spiritual growth, which can be complex and will not happen overnight.

Hence, we must manage our expectations and have a lot of patience as the change is gradual, that is, one step at a time.

God knows that it is not about quantity, but quality, and that a step well taken in serenity and wisdom, will be better than taking steps moving forward at great speed.

All growth involves change and all change carries with it, in turn, a responsibility. However, we have a new opportunity every day to advance and cultivate that character that the Lord desires in us. The sum of all our habits must remain in the path of light of the Holy Spirit, aligning our words as well as our daily decisions and actions.

"Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times." Matthew 18:21-22

If we consider that we have been going through life losing sight of the real objective for which we live with God, our values must be reconnected with that balance and peace that helps us to live day by day with the Heavenly Father.

If we feel in our inner being negative feelings such as arrogance and greed, we must displace them to give place to pure emotions, associated with love, respect, solidarity and empathy.

Let us remember then how God helped us when we were in search of his collaboration and enlightenment. How God extended his healing hand and opened his heart to shelter us when we needed it.

So if we have any doubts, we should ask ourselves: What would the Lord do in our place?
