"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
Rules exist to organize society, creating consensus on what can and cannot be done. Have you ever considered what rules govern your spiritual life? What internal structures have you created around your faith?
It is essential to have guides that help us live life rationally and orderly. However, sometimes we cling to very rigid rules and inherited precepts that do not allow us to love the Lord with full freedom.
In times of difficulty, find comfort and strength in faith. Trusting that God has a plan for us helps us face challenges with hope and serenity.
While we patiently await that energy of renewal, each step we take towards the Lord brings us closer to the peace and happiness He desires for us.
Rethinking these mental bonds that prevent us from fully feeling God's blessings can open a new path of light for us.
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2
If you feel that you have reached a limit in the love you receive from the Heavenly Father, it is time to retake the path in a way that allows you to reconnect with your heart. Being present with your emotions towards the Holy Spirit will help you recharge the energies of your mind, body, and soul.
Take time to truly feel the glory of God and the blessings of the Savior within you. This renewing connection will allow you to experience a transformative energy.
Maintain an attitude of gratitude and humility, always remembering that our abilities and talents are gifts from God. Cultivating a deep relationship with Him fills our lives with light and our actions reflect His love and goodness.
"Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me." Psalm 51:10
Sometimes, we go through life without thinking too much, simply because it is easy and comfortable. However, it is crucial to evaluate how we feel in relation to our faith. Is there any obligation or mandate we feel towards the Lord?
The context shapes us, motivates us, or holds us back. Analyze if you are happy with your current reality and your relationship with the Holy Spirit. Remember past moments when you felt full with the presence of the Heavenly Father and try to regain that connection. Reinforcing the Lord's teachings helps us to be better people in our community and with our loved ones.
Living with faith and dedication, we attract God's blessings and become a beacon of light for others, inspiring them to also seek transformation and spiritual renewal.
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31
One of the fundamental teachings of the Lord is patience. Achieving a peaceful and faith-focused wait allows us to reach our life’s desires and goals. This is not the time to open an emotional or affective battlefront. It is time to sit, observe how you feel, and walk slowly, without haste, with the Lord.
Observe your environment and the people involved in your spirituality. It is healthy to have spaces of connection with the Lord through prayer. Do not hesitate to engage in activities that allow you to have moments just for yourself. Creating these daily spaces will be the first step to taking that leap towards the Heavenly Father.
Transforming our shadows into light allows us to see the wonderful blessings of God manifesting in us. Making the decision to walk with the Lord and supporting our faith with words and actions that reflect His presence in our lives is a clear sign of spiritual maturity.
