In the moments when we can trust and hold the Faith together with other brothers and sisters, everything works better.
"Who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him? We, for our part, have the mind of Christ." 1 Corinthians 2:16
In the past, we remember how many headaches we had to deal with when working in teams at school or university. We always had problems coordinating tasks, adapting the texts to be presented or simply being able to find a day, time and place to meet to deliver the work.
Without going any further, nowadays we probably have to perform tasks in teams in our jobs. Whatever our profession we must resort to the help of other people to complete a goal or task, we must not forget that moment of sharing with others.
"For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have." 2 Corinthians 8:12
In this modernity in which we live, where individual achievements are pressed and where the formula for success lies in prospering over others, achieving better times and setting the individual example, we have to incorporate the greatest teaching that God wants to bring us today: success is achieved by working with others as a team. Our heavenly Father created us in the image and likeness of one another, looking for us to relate to each other, generating interdependence. In order to change this culture of individualism, we must prioritize and highlight the advantages of the spiritual life. For this we need to be able to connect with a peer. With an other who understands us and understands the importance of sharing.
“ou will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” 2 Corinthians 9:11
How many times have we found ourselves in the situation where we want to share or seek help to do a job or task and no one offers to help us? How many other times have you decided to do that task on your own because it is faster or easier to finish it by your own means than to count on someone else's help? The Lord is looking for us to interact and connect with those who allow us to grow. Between two or more people we will achieve better and faster accomplishments, since we will have the necessary support to not be afraid or afraid of falling. We will have the other person to encourage us in the necessary moments. It will be that same person who supports us or the one we extend help to, thus learning how valuable it is to be there for each other.
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
If you are looking for a person you can trust and who will give you unconditional help, then you should think of Jesus. Who better than Him to understand your needs and problems. What better than to work together and encourage each other to grow spiritually.
He always required help from His disciples. He gave them tasks and jobs to do. He understood that this was the way to be able to transmit his teachings and learning.
Now understanding that through the Holy Spirit and surrounding ourselves with people who feel the Faith in the same way as we do, (in a unique and necessary way to be able to live), then we will be in front of an invincible team. With the love of God the Father and his Son Jesus, we will achieve unimaginable accomplishments.
