No one said that the path we chose would be easy, that is well known; but who said it sure did not notice everything we have at hand and that is very helpful.
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:1
Compare yourself with your past self and see your evolution. There are moments in our life when we need that little ride that gives us the necessary momentum to continue, and a good way to achieve this is to see our evolution comparing ourselves to where we were and how we were in the not too distant past.
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32
Keep your eyes fixed on your goal. Many times what we will achieve when we reach the goal becomes the engine that drives us to continue our journey without giving up the attempt, and it is not that we only enjoy the achievement instead of the process, but that we must, by all means, ensure that our energies do not go down as we walk the path that God proposes.
But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15
Lean on your loved ones. Getting the good energy and love of all those loved ones is equivalent to receiving a boost that will make us move forward without worrying about reluctance or negative feelings that may arise. It is important to remember then that bearing a weight becomes much easier when it is distributed among several.
He declared to you his covenant, the Ten Commandments, which he commanded you to follow and then wrote them on two stone tablets. Deuteronomy 4:13
Seek advice in the Holy Bible. Everything we can find in the pages of the Holy Bible is wonderful: The joy of knowing that we have Christ or the advice that will help us when we are not in our best day. But of all the attributes that are in it, the council to overcome our obstacles leads the ranking, in which we can find how Christ went through the same circumstance and how he managed to overcome the bad moment.
Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you. Deuteronomy 4:2
Find a friend in Christ. Above all, remember that Christ is your friend. In Him you can find a shoulder to cry on; a confidant who will understand you; a friend who won't judge you but, more importantly, someone who won't let you down.
