April is a month that will allow us to approach the path of light and love. Find in the following verses the necessary guidance to begin your journey.
"Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom." James 3:13
Sometimes we receive guests in our home. We plan how to entertain them, what to invite them to eat and drink. We also think about what topics we will talk about so that they will enjoy the company, how to make this visit a pleasant moment for everyone.
We want them to feel very comfortable in our home, no matter how simple it is, and we want them to want to stay a little longer, or to come back soon. Knowing that those who have come to our home have been well received makes us happy. Do we act in the same way with the Lord? Do we open our hearts to the Holy Spirit and to the Holy Spirit?
"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock." Matthew 7:24
We do not always receive the Lord as we do those we receive into our home. Often we put a certain distance with the Faith, we treat with coldness, we pretend a closeness that is not real with our Heavenly Father.
It is not easy for us to avoid this defensive display, which we tend to put on when we fear we cannot measure up to the Savior. We immediately distance ourselves for fear of appearing incapable of moving forward on His path of light.
The problem is that we make them desist from any approach. Life has made us overly cautious and cautious. We forget God's infinite love. Many times we put too much distance with Him. We drive Him away, without wanting to, we forget to communicate in prayer with our Heavenly Father to remind Him how much we miss Him. You have the ability now to make that necessary opening of reconnection with the Holy Spirit right now.
"I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king." Daniel 2:23
Each and every one of us has something to give, and we also appreciate receiving. For this exchange to be balanced in every way, people must feel confident in the presence of the Lord, our guest of honor in life.
It is in this relationship that the most important and profound exchanges occur in our journey of faith.
If you do not feel this emotion and these feelings in your inner being, nothing will prosper around you. Like the sun that makes plants grow, trust is a precious commodity that is given without asking for it in return. This is what Jesus teaches us on the cross for those who come to our dwelling place, to our heart.
If we do not learn to trust the Holy Spirit, nothing will prosper around us. But trusting does not mean abandoning ourselves, quite the contrary. Just as we choose whom we invite into our home, we will choose to act with the blessings received from God. Our Lord always blesses us, accompanies us and listens to us at all times and allows us to enjoy good times with family and loved ones.
"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom." Isaiah 40:28
Start this new month of April with a different mindset. Start connecting with the Holy Spirit right now, in your own space, trying to really realize how to sincerely open your bond to God.
Contemplate the fact that perhaps you already have an openness to the Lord in fullness. If this is your case, the recommendation is to be able to approach the people you know and surround you with this message: do not feel alone, for our Heavenly Father is always with each son and daughter, guiding us in the decisions we make.
