8 Bible verses that will change your life

We must be able to appeal to certain verses of the Bible in a simple manner so they rehabilitate and reconnect us to the Faith in a profound way.

1) Recognizing the only saviour

“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18

What a laudable and challenging mission faces us in our lives. From when we begin to listen and see with our eyes all the Glory and blessing that our Heavenly Father has, there remains no other path to follow, trusting in his word and the light of his lessons.

It comes to our hands the moment we need it the most and penetrates our hearts in a perpetual manner, relighting the flame with which we can reflect on our daily actions.

2) Overcoming ourselves thanks to the Glory of God

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2

Many times we remain contemplating the past or the goals that we failed to meet. Or we are simply stuck in recreating a dream of a way of life that other people live.

We remain anxious without understanding not that in reality we have a perfect plan, conceived by the will of our creating Father. That is why we must break through our comfort zone, overcoming ourselves every day and entrusting our hearts to the Glory and blessing of Christ our Lord.

3) Trusting in the Holy Word

“The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” Psalms 121:7-8

Our Creator will always be present care and bless us from the kingdom of Heaven. We must never stop trusting in His Glory, since He will always be willing to guide us and illuminate our heart in the hardest moments and in those difficult situations that we come across.

He is in each of us as faithful devotees to the Holy Spirit, in allowing the Faith to enter our homes and our souls, since the light we have seen on the face of Jesus is the same that will be found deposited forever in each of us.

4) The fruit of working alongside God

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23-24

If we decide to inhabit in the Holy Spirit walking on a path of light and of Faith, we entrust forever and fervently our prayers to the Lord. We must not wish nor hope for material rewards.

In this world full of flesh and bone models that impose rules on us to be able to gain over any other person, we must rescue ourselves. Placing before all the Christian values, understanding that we will be in communion living eternally with our Father and His son Jesus.

5) The temptation that never ends

"What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?" Mark 8:36

If we affirm that we find ourselves closer to the light, with open arms for our God and His son, we must distance is from sin.  Without a doubt greed brings us to commit and wish situations in which we have never been in before. Jesus on the cross, with His blood and His life, forgave and purified all our sins.

But we decide then that we desire a life free of sin, we must not fool ourselves but walk a path of honesty and divine purification.  Accumulating and wasting energy on fleeting and useless items is pointless. The Holy Spirit is the only treasure that we must yearn for.

6) Standing firm next to Jesus

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

In the same way we start our path of Faith with the teachings of the Holy Spirit, the testimonies and tales of ancestors who raised us, we will continue down the path of the Holy Spirit to the Heavenly temple.

That is the destiny of life that awaits us for brothers and sisters that in communion seek repair in the prayer dedicated to the Holy Father and His son Jesus Christ. Fulfilling the commandments, heeding his blessing, God will renew the votes of our hearts, without letting us trip on temptation nor evil.

7) The blessings of forgiveness

“ if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2Chronicles 7:14

There are no promises that are not fulfilled by our Lord. We must simoly recognize ourselves as sinners, since we are human and weak, but we should not stop loving and praying for the restoration of our Faith because of it. The miracle performed by Jesus on the cross, gives us an example of the sacrifices that we will have to make in life to be able to continue without abandoning the search for truth, Justice, redemption, and love.

Fertilizing our spirituality will be an easy task compared to the task of keeping ourselves away from the fog of sin, understanding that by loving our brethren we will always keep from falling into temptation.

8) Repairing the body and soul

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” Acts 3:19

We must not let time go by. We do not have to torment ourselves not suffer anymore. The first step is to recognize that we sinned and made a mistake. We will always be forgiven in the name of Jesus, since we know His Grace and recognize in Him all the love and peace that we need to continue on the path of the Holy Spirit.

Without need to make sacrifices nor material offerings, we must only offer or heart, thank Him in prayer and work from goodness, as good Christians, to reach eternal life beside our Lord in the kingdom of heaven.
