Put into practice all the lessons learned

Every day we will have to put into practice all the lessons learned in the path of Life. God guides us always and the Lord wants his word to be transmitted. Go through these practices to get closer to the Lord.

“Thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalms 119:105

Use God as your only reference. Only the Lord Jesus Christ should be the example we must follow, since absolute perfection and endless love belong only to Him. The wisdom that is characterized by Jesus is a constant source we must consult whenever we are faced with the question of how to act at any given moment. We only have to ask ourselves what Jesus would do in our place. His eternal mercy and constant forgiveness make Him a Father worthy of being imitated. We have the certainty that by following His example we can access the blessing of an eternal life at His side.

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” James 1:22

May your actions be heard louder than your words. It is well known that it is useless to fill our mouth with words, if our actions do not correspond with everything we said. We are worthy to be called children of God through the power of our actions, which will ultimately be what identifies us, as opposed to the words that, as someone once said, are "gone with the wind".

“The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand for ever.” Isaiah 40:8

Live life traversing the path of the Lord. The path that God offers represents a lot of spiritual commitment and requires a great deal of faith. Bear in mind that, contrary to what non-believers think, traversing the path of God means being tested constantly. This is how we strengthen ourselves spiritually and receive the virtues needed to avoid falling into temptation during our journey, always accompanied by the Lord's guidance.

“This God—his way is perfect; the promise of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.” Psalms 18:30

Love, above all things. Follow the example that the Great One gave us when He gave His son to reaffirm the eternal love and trust that He has for us. Fulfill His wish by loving your neighbor, honoring Him by being a living testimony of the greatness that is His most pure love. Turn love into your life's motto and may everything you say only be love, and no matter what you do, do it with and for love.

“The unfolding of thy words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple.” Psalms 119:130

Help unconditionally. Not as a payment for having received help yourself, but as thanks to all that the Lord has blessed you with. Everything you have achieved through constant effort, aided by the virtues achieved through almighty God; all the health that is had by those we love. Thank the Lord today in the best way there is, by unconditionally helping others.
