We have to appeal to our creativity and imagination to continue a life confined to preventive confinement that prevents the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We present ways to share prayers with family, friends, and the Lord.
“If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Mark 9:23
Find the right time, peace, and company at home, if possible, if we live with family or people who accompany our day to day. So we must find a space to dedicate to prayer. It is the way to reconnect with the faith and rekindle hopes in this complex situation of the global pandemic. Go through passages that really encourage you, since we are in an unconventional scenario, where we begin to change our own routines, to solidarity globally and take care of those who need it most is essential.
“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought." 1 Corinthians 1:10
We can use technological means that we have to be able to create prayer groups. From video conferences to be able to coordinate prayers and requests for people who need special attention, to groups in social networks. In the face of the coronavirus and the obligation to stay in our homes, thousands of people feel afraid and forget that our Savior will always be there to protect their hearts from these fears. To repair our countenance that has been lost in a sea of doubts, we must recognize that today we need a light and a guide on the path of the Holy Spirit.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1 John 5:14
This is probably one of the most important tests in life that we have ever had as a society. The whole world is subject to general isolation, and we must be convinced that our Heavenly Father's plan contemplates this situation. All we must do is continue to trust the Holy Spirit. We must daily revive through prayer our bond with God and trust that His ultimate wisdom will place us in a future of peace and harmony.
